Duncan from a personal point of view I enjoy your posts and I'm damn glad you stay, and your views and everyone elses make up the forum; but your view that you should be able to decide how this forum reaches its full potential is flawed. I have no doubt Richard is very interested in your view but it is his site for him to decide which way he wants it run

 

Thanks very much for that and I totally agree that it is up to Richard to decide how he runs his website, I am only giving my honest opinion on matters that arise or matters I think need addressed on the forum :-/

i can't believe some of the 'venom' on here...unless i am reading it wrong. surely the whole point of this site is to enhance our hobby and have some fun whilst learning and perhaps helping a little. surely the site is big enough for those that don't allways agree to keep out of others way. its not international polotics. this site is not a democracy it is a 'product'...you use it...if you don't like it ...you use an alternative or do without. of course richard might decide ,with so many complaints, to 'withdraw his product'...no site.i don't allways agree with the webmaster....but lets get back to having a little fun. i'll not post on here again 'cos 212 posts is way to many

well well,i see my post this morning,asking why all my posts have been deleted for 3 different nights,has gone as usual ,unanswered,and hid away,hoping no one will bother to seek it out,which seems very childish,but that`s moderators for you.

   getting back to all my posts being deleted,they were certainly not offensive,rude threatening,racist,just a bit of fum#n,which some members enjoyed and pmme to tell me so.

    It seems you have a better chance to keep your posts on here,if they are economical with the truth,and trying to be nice,so the bottom line seems to be DOUBLE STANDARDS. ;D

Richard is quite busy at the moment but i assure you asha all will be revieled very shortly , if you look at the members rules you may be enlightened to why your posts have been removed , most were digs at one member which could be deemed as offensive to the person you were digging at and could be treated as victimisation , if someone was having a bit of 'fun' posting comments about you i think you would see things differently . Rember a joke is only a joke when everybody laughs not when there laughing about a single minority.

If that`s so perhaps richard can at the same time explain to everyone ,why my posts asking pertinant questions of certain selling techniques ,by certain members were removed ,but the obvious misleading sellers hype were left on ,and could in theory,be classed as false advertising,and should certainly been ruthlessly dealt with. :-/

because all post had another members name in them , hence they were removed , and could be deamed as victimisation / bullying or causing upset to another member, as i said Richard will talk to you about your behaviouir tonight . Perhaps in the mean time you can brush up on the sites rules then you may actualy see why your posts were removed , if you dont infringe any rules cause upset or victimise or use profanity in your post they will remain .

Nice one Lennut! It's taken me most of the night reading through the thread. The way I see it (regarding  SOME moderators) is to shut 'em up . and confine them to where they are . LOL. Seems to work!
