Download speed

I'Ve been having a few probs with my Broadband,yesterday they sent me a questionnaire email which I obliged and returned.One good thing did come out of it and may help you if you have a slow D/L speed,doing this increased my D/L speed by 25/30 %.

Remove the cover off your incoming telephone socket inside you will see a fitting the same as the one on the cover you have just removed ,fit your filter into that and you should recieve a faster D/L speed.

Before you do this use the link below to check you speed then after you've done the above use the link again to see if there is any difference.

Just tried it Lindsay and to be honest not much difference in mine mate :-/  It gave me a download speed of 5456 and upload of 484 and then after i took the cover of and tried it i got 5336 and 485 :-/

Looks like you got less ,can't think why.mine worked a lot faster.one can only try.

virgin cable,tested on speedtest.net is download speed 9.86 and upload speed 0.49,it has gone right down to 0.5 one night

using speedtest.net  download was 9.57  & upload. 0.47 virgin media.
