Wiley Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Anyone know a good light source, apart from those that are battery operated as they do not last very long and would cost a bomb in batteries, need a source that can provide light for 5 rabbit hutches, any ideas welcomed?
grizzal Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 have you looked at the small strip lights that jointogether for under kitchen units[just a thought]may workpaul

Wiley Posted December 29, 2010 Author Report Posted December 29, 2010 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MAGIC-BULB-WONDER-LIGHT-BULB-CUPBOARD-SHED-GARAGE-LOFT-/330506886122?pt=UK_HomeGarden_Lighting_Lamps_Lighting_SM&hash=item4cf3bedbea I originally bought these, as i see them advertised in the bhw for 12.99, glad i bought them on ebay, however after an hour they kill the duracel batteries, so are useless, especially as they take 4 double aa bateries. Anything as a cheap alternative would be brillant. Greenlands what you posted up are solor panels, looking for light ideas mate?
greenlands Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Hi Wiley, use the solar panels to power the lights.Use the panel to charge a 12v heavy duty battery running the lights off the battery which will be charged up during day light.
