Roundo Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 What do you think of this for a 1st Class service? For the past few weeks I've been on the look out for new easy clean perches for my yb loft and my hen section, with one or two places in mind, but the carriage costs were off putting plus I wasn't sure about the quality. Having spoke to two fellow forum members they directed me to our very own muttley_1 from sunny Falkirk. So on Saturday I made the trip through to meet him along with my loft manager (dad) and my two boys to see the quality of the perches. Lets just say we were only there 5 mins and we had ordered 72 perches, they were top notch, the quality was there to be seen. He also let us see the different type of boxes he makes, widowhood, pipo and hen boxes, all made from quality timber and to perfection. Now for the good part......... They were ordered Saturday afternoon, delivered by the good man himself on the Sunday and fitted the very same day by myself and dad.........job done!!!!! I have to say that it was a pleasure dealing with muttly_1 and wouldn't hesitate it returning if I require any other fittings, but more importantly I would recommend his work to anyone. Quality fittings, brilliant service, excellent price and a nice guy to deal with. I'll post some pictures the first chance I get. Regards, Colin.

Roundo Posted October 14, 2008 Author Report Posted October 14, 2008 Here are some pictures I took tonight of the perches I bought from muttley_1 The first ones are in my yb loft, that currently houses my race hens, the others are of my hen section that currently houses my stock hens. They certainly make cleaning out a lot easier and in less time. Colin.
OLDYELLOW Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 how do they go together ( are the uprights in one piece ) and how do you clean them ? theres no solid bottoms ? maybe need a few close up lol :-/ but they are cracking perches without a doubt
