You can also try pairing 2 hens togetherhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif they will race to each otherhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

Race your hens on w/hood for the first 6-8 races then pair them up for the longer races. There's good results to be had by hens in the early races especially if the weathers on the cold side.

Tommy an easy way to race your hens, have them in a section next to the cocks, exercise them twice a day out of their own section or train them daily back to their own section. When racing just let through to the cocks and on return let them trap to the cocks section, they will trap no bother as they have bred in that section before being separated. This works well for me.atb.

hi

pair 2 hens to 1 cock split a widowhood box in half, pair the 1St hen to the cock

let them hatch and rear a pair of young ,when young weaned split 1st pair for 1 week

then pair 2nd hen to same cock, let them hatch and rear a pair of young when weaned ,the

box should have 2 entrances into the same box.start training the hens to the empty box

it is up to you if you show the cock on marking night or not ,lock them out of the box

when not at racing or training the partition should be removed when they start training

and each hen should have its own perch outside its own half of the box .on race day put the cock

in the box with doors closed. GOOD LUCK.

the cocks should be in another section all week

until you need them wullie g
