Distance races for me, that said the sprint races are a quick fix for excitment until the big races come about, also there's not

many lasting memories with the sprint races where as the distance races are still fresh in memory bank.

i like the nrcc races because you can follow them on the web. for me i see the time birds get into lincs...adjust the velocity to my own distance and then you know if you get a good one . then sweat as i wait for the longer norfolk flyers to post

Every race is important to me, whether it be from 46 miles or over 500 mileshttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif I send my birds to every race, looking to win, but always shake the hand of the winner, as on that specific day, his/her birds were better that minehttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

In saying all that, if you were to say to me that I could only race 1 race throughout the whole year, it would have to be the SNFC Gold Cup race, well over 500 mileshttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

I always do like distance for me. I'd like to build up and to find out which one of my stock birds that can do any distance races.;)

depends what you class as a sprint? and what you class at distance?

i get a buzz seeing my first doo from any distance, but at shorter races yes its over in a moment, but across the water the buzz lasts a lot longer,

or when you win the short races then the buzz lasts all day :D

or even when you time a doo out of 500mile not getting a ticket that too lasts a while.
