Stain

Hi,

I have a show bird and it has a stain on both wing shields, I think it is an oily greast type stain.

I have tried washing it with soapy water and it has slightly improved it, does anybody have any good ideas or remedy for this i have it entered in a show this weekend.

The bird is a powder blue bar so it shows up bad.

Try a few drops of lighter fluid on cotton wool.

If that doesn't work try lard. I went under a lorry when I was a kid, got my hair covered in engine oil and my mum shifted it with lard and shampoo.
