Tauris Ets System

hi has anyone got a tauris ets system ive just bought one and cant work out how to input any data onto it e.g. pigeons ring numbers any help

Not sure about Tauris, but with Unikon it has to be your clock setter/secretary who has the extra equipment required that is needed to enter any new datahttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif

Are you the only one who as this system in your club,if so you may have a problem if the sec.or whoever allocates the rings etc.is not familiar with it.get intouch with the sec.and ask him as he should be the one who enters the data etc. into the clock.

Open up the software on your pc. Follow thru sequence of add club then fancier. Drop down box at top that says pigeon and add fall your numbers of the pigeons you wish to race. Connect your clock to the pc via lead provided. Go to communication tab and select transfer info pc-clock. On clock press start and 3 and info will be transfered to clock. Connect clock to entry sensor or node and the clock will ask to assign pigeon with ring. Press 7( I think) and assign ETS ring to each number. When finished connect clock back to PC and select transfer info Clock-PC and that should be that. I have a spare manual if you like?

I think you will find it is only club secretaries that are issued with this equipment, this is the case with Unikon, so that members can not alter any data on their clockhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif

Will work with the champ system but not the Profi, were as all the Unikon systems will work with the Tauris system,

 

As others have said above it is generally down to your club secretary to load info to your clock, he/she will need to spend a little time going over the instructions but should get the hang of it pretty quick, will add that if your secretary has a problem don't suffer/waste to much time, get in touch with the agent that you purchased the clock from and they will recognise what you are doing wrong.

For marking and striking off it will work with other systems but you will need to get the proper cable to connect it with Unikon,for allocating rings etc you will need the Tauris programme for your sec to load on the clubs computer.
