Offered below is an outstanding stock pigeon which belongs to the late R Summers of Nailsea, Bristol. Mr Summers was the father of Gary Summers, the West Country Wizard, Gary results are known Nationally right upto 1st Open NFC Saintes etc, he is one of the Areas leading National and Classic fanciers. Mr Summers loft was like Gary’s 2nd stock loft, the quality or these are outstanding, ive handle each one of them and they are gems.

The following two stock cocks do not have rings on, why, well a couple of years ago when Mr Summers was ill his wife and Gary's mum instructed Gary to come and collect all the birds as it was too much for his dad. There was a bit of an arguement so Mr Summers cut off the rings off two very good cocks that Gary had bred him so that they would not be returned.

Lot 1 a fabulous old fashioned Hartog cock, Gary will get a pedigree for this one, he is out of a pair of Original Hartogs that John Gerrard had lent him whilst he was moving, these birds crossed with Janssens have bred 1st Open NFC Saintes, 2nd Open CSCFC Nantes etc!!

Lot 2 is an original Janssen stock cock from Gary, these are the main stay of his ultra successful family and will repay the buyer 10 fold.

Both of the above cocks have br

They are all beauties in the hand, its a shame we cant wait for them to moult out but Mr Summers was buried last week and his wife wants the birds and lofts cleared, plus Gary is having to make the trip to feed them every day, you will see from the pictures that Gary has PFL and has to wear a mask whenever he enters the loft.

A bit of confusion regarding these two, and i will make a little change, they are being sold seperately and the starting bid was £70 each but i will change that to £50, Auction ends at the same tho.

The Hartog cock actually was bred from a full brother to 1st Open Saintes NFC Saintes when paired to a sister of 2nd Open CSCFC Nantes.

They are crackers

Oops, forgot that, the Hartog is from 2001 and Janssen cock 2004.

Even though the Hartog cock is old he is in magnificent shape!! You dont keep a 9 year old and cut his ring off for nothing!!!

Gary has been up with the books this morning and we have identified the two cocks fro sure, Lot 1 is from 2002 and is a Hartog down from his originals, Bull head lines.

Lot 2 is from 2003 and is in fact a 100% Jos Soojtens cock from JS Lofts.

Full pedigree with both.

Thanks for you patience, its never easy dealing with a beaverment sale such as this.
