As we enter the autum months and head into the dark winter nights, does this result in members altering their routines?

For example, feeding times

how many times the lofts are cleaned

how often the birds get their liberation

the only thing different is the times we let the birds out, they are out a lot less here but they have a large avery on every section so they are not actually stuck inside the loft

I continue to clean the lofts out daily, however, I reduce the feeding regime from twice a day, to only once a day. The hens never get out over the winter, and the cocks rarely get out, possibly on a weekend for a bathhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

During the off season I treat my birds like my youngsters, out mid morning (weather permitting) and fed once a day, cleaned twice a day. Before I retired they only went out weekends and were fed evenings and cleaned before feeding, using lights.
