sapper756 Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 As we enter the autum months and head into the dark winter nights, does this result in members altering their routines? For example, feeding times how many times the lofts are cleaned how often the birds get their liberation etchttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif THANK YOU FOLKShttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

Guest TAMMY_1 Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 As we enter the autum months and head into the dark winter nights, does this result in members altering their routines? For example, feeding times how many times the lofts are cleaned how often the birds get their liberation etc THANK YOU FOLKS the only thing different is the times we let the birds out, they are out a lot less here but they have a large avery on every section so they are not actually stuck inside the loft
sapper756 Posted October 6, 2010 Author Report Posted October 6, 2010 I continue to clean the lofts out daily, however, I reduce the feeding regime from twice a day, to only once a day. The hens never get out over the winter, and the cocks rarely get out, possibly on a weekend for a bathhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif
