Guest floydd31 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 i have 2 birds which have blood clots i under wing and the other on its neck i was told 2 tie a peice of string around them and they will drop of.birds are in good health is this down 2 to rich of feeding. is this the best way 2 get rid of these clots
REDCHEQHEN Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Do you mean 'protein lumps'? They will dry up and fall off without doing anything to them - and as it is out of season - let them do that naturally
OLDYELLOW Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 also lighten there feed with some barley
Guest floydd31 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 ok thanks for that, been about 10 years since i last saw one, i think my feeding was a bit rich
sapper756 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 I would tie a piece of thread tightly around them, and this will dislodge them quicker, however, some like to leave them to fall off naturallyhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif
