bullcock Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 The members of the SNFC in Jan 2009 did have a vote and decided to continue it's alengencies to the SHU and this was by quite a large majority, wether this is right or wrong I don't know but it's no different to members of the NFC having to be members of the RPRA. I would like to see everone all together again and personally I don't care if other organisations were allowed to fly in the SNFC such as RPRA etc..A problem that I don't hear anybody talking about is race measurments ?As everyone knows SHU & RPRA measurments are different so even if RPRA members were allowed to fly in the SNFC they would need to join the SHU for there measurments as we couldn't have members sourcing measurments from different sources especially if they could be different!
geordie1234 Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 I would like to think it could just be one national i know if i was ever lucky enough to win a national i would rather it was the whole of scotland than only a part of it
JohnQuinn Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Instead of continually posting what you think is right/wrong, post HOW YOU CAN SORT IT. Idea's are no worth your time posting if you don't make an effort in some way to achieve what you want. I don't mean posting what everybody else should do to sort it, post what YOU are gonna do as an individual to try and get in motion a chain of events that will consolidate the fanciers in Scotland, as this is clearly what the main thrust of this thread is stating we need to do.
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Up until the last 18 months I always had hope that the problems could be resolved, now my opinion is that it is only TIME that make a difference now. Though how much time it will take I do not know.
airdrie2 Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 when pigeon sport is totally on its knees gareth and all the old ones are no longer here but can the sport last this long postal vote at all agm,s
Guest bigda Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 would be a great move forward if a letter was issued to both nats members, to see what they think only question was that i think that would help is the snfc picks up the tab for the change over and pays the returning fanciers union fees for the year as that would be a peace offering JMO

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 think ets had alot to do wi it lol Believe this was the route cause of it all, which in turn flared into something far bigger. :( its quite amazing that this part of the history of the split has almost been forgotten about.

gulkie Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 I thought a national race consisted of the nation taking partnot in two separate races? <_<
jonl6280 Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 why should the all the scottish national members(both clubs) be split because of clowns falling out and fighting with each other???, get a grip, and UNITE. the sport is dying and the clowns that fell out should settle their differences and be 1 national for the sake of the sport.
