Guest IB Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Normally I would change to moulting mix, but I noticed last year that I had to add to it to get the birds to eat it all. Like yourself, have noticed perches carpeted with feathers so that tells me that the mix they are getting just now is doing the job. I put nothing in drinking water, and they get a bath once a week.
kirky Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 my obs are well into the moult just a couple of flights to go,but i did split them up at the end of may.

Two things, nice to have a couple of breeding pairs... they collect them up a bit lol. But a Grill or even a flat foot square board placed leaning up a corne - room left behind it ofcourse, collects the vast majority behind it.
