andy Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 For me, big mistake pairing up for Clermont, should've kept them on widowhood.
budgie Posted August 2, 2010 Author Report Posted August 2, 2010 Another mistake we nearly all make is getting infatuated with marketing hype.We get pigeons from many sources and should be buying the 2% of Guid pigeons from good reputable local fanciers in our area and seek there advice. And lastly being to Gready and sending the Top Pigeons who have given you a good effort and well up in the National Races back to quick.
budgie Posted August 2, 2010 Author Report Posted August 2, 2010 For me, big mistake pairing up for Clermont, should've kept them on widowhood.Andy agree with you there i think it takes them about 4 weeks to get back on their cycle . :mellow:We have never tried widowhood but will be giving it a go next year.
Guest mick bowler Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 My biggest mistake was about 2 hours ago. Took my yongbird teams 40 miles, no too bad a day when i left, but on the way back, from 12 miles out cant see anything. The sea mists we have here can appear from nowhere and thats what has happened. The most frustrating thing is my wife and kids were at home watching it come in and did they think to ring me?Lucky to see any again.
