Frazer Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Blakes for me for the price, ecco lofts looked similar quality but much more expensive but if them six numbers come up then id have a barnsley loft super quality.
DOVEScot Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I thought this was a decent loft for the money delivered treated and erected from Blakes :-/
Guest paulrstokes Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I have just bought a shed from Ecco built to my own design. I would recommend them to anybody, real nice guys.
sapper756 Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Out of interest I asked 2 different loft builders at the show for a price for a 24 x 8ft, in 4 sections with corridor. Blakes were £3,2oo less than Barnsley Lofts :-/ worth while shopping around Blakes £1,800 delivered and errected Barnsley £4,900 for loft and £180 delivery and erection :-/ Both pent roofed
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Dont know the price but the best loft for me was Tranter lofts 8) http://www.tranterloftsandtimbergardenbuildings.com/80415/info.php?p=3 Loft at Blackpool was similar to the first one in the link.
BLACK W F Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 dont know but the lofts with the sterling boards for a roof whats that about thats what spoils them also think the floors where 2ft centres no way more than 18 inch not good value not for me thats for sure
lightning fast Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I got a blakes loft a few years ago and would never get another one :'( every time the rain changed direction I was out with the silicon gun a year of respiratory problems and the air was never right, got them out to fix the problems but was never right, the best thing I done was get rid of it > > >

cemetary Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Tranter was the best lofts of all a couple of year ago,
Alen Gibb Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Seeing a show loft at Blackpool or anywhere else is one thing - will you get the same quality of materials when you buy one? A bit like these large furniture stores really when you choose something in the showroom and then have to wait weeks for one to be delivered. Tranter for me every time.
Guest mick bowler Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Before i got the brick shed built i got prices for a 24 x 12 tiled loft from various places, prices were (roughly, none including erection): Petron - £9,000, plus fittings and tiles (slates) (est £1200) and £1000 delivery. Barnsley - £6,800, plus £650 delivery, and included fittings and slates. Ecco lofts - £4,800 including fittings, no tiles, i had to arrange delivery. Another company, cant remember name but west mids, around £7,000 for not a lot really lol!! Happy with what i got, wont blow away and very good for controlling ventilation!
lightning fast Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 Know a top fancer who gota tranter loft, and gave it 10/10
