When thought of it was single axle to keep the weight down but yes understood

so what your saying, a caravan needs brakes fitted

or a free towing car lift

Hi Guys

Any trailer over 750kg requires brakes by law so it may be worth checking the weight laden and unladen.

Was thinking the same thing...may need inertia brakes, also worth checking new legislation re: running/marker lights. Also think you need separate 3rd party insurance for trailer. Best to have it all sorted before commiting to the road. Only trying to help.

make sure the total gvw isn't over 3500kg or you'll need a tacho

Also if the vehicle your pulling it with is

insured in a company name you need a tacho fitted

no matter the trailers weight

Well you's have certainly ruined the good in this thread!!

 

Enjoy your trailer mate and pay no attention to the weight or ventilation, its obvious there is enough ventilation in it, and who gives a toss about pigeon trailers' weight??
