sapper756 Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Now that the young bird season will soon be upon us, I thought it would be interesting for members to share with others, what system they intend to fly their young bird team onhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif CHEERS FOLKShttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif
OLDYELLOW Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 will be racing mine natural , there already laying so will place a few bowls in for motivation , more training than racing fer me hard to keep up with the darkies i could split the sexes and fly widowhood but too much work and id rather have them happy there only ybs fer a few months racing
kirky Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 mine are darkness ybs and will be flying paired, would love to split sexes but dont have the room.
Tony C Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Race on the darkness & paired, trained 3 times a week from 45 mile.
boxer Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 ours are on natural find its better for the birds to come through the moult properley [spelling] i know i wont be able to keep up with darkness but thats fine by me as long as they come home il be happy
dal2 Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 HAve been on darkness for a few year but this will be my last. Younguns look great but the stats in my loft show that they are pretty disappointing yearlings. My best yearlings have always been bred in january so next year will attempt tae get forty younguns early. As for system i raced them split into sexs and put together on a friday.Cheers steven
marmite Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 will be raced natural as i want them to develop naturally not bothered if i complete yb season as long as they all get the experience of at least 4 races each i will be happy as i want them all for chanel racing as 2 yr olds so whats left will race inland program as yearlings atb to all clive
