sapper756 Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Andy Murray has just started his game against Tsoga at Wimbledon, GOOD LUCK ANDY M8
Roland Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Personally, - though I have no time for the lad, I'd not cheer or be pleased if he doesn't go and win.Indeed even if he won the Grand Slam next year. It would be good for the home nations, especially Scotland of course. Mind I'd never vote for him for the 'Sportsman of the Year' as that would be a travesty of justice and indeed put the old shenbang upside dawn and be a mockery to genuine sportsmen and women. For a great tennis player he may well be, a sportsmans never in a year of Sundays.
Guest grizzler Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 think theres more chance of scotland winning the 2012 european championship, than mr murray winning wimbledon but good luck to him
Roland Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Couldn't be for a more horrid bloke. It is in reality a shame, for there is very seldom, and shouldn't be any rasism in sport. We are trying hard - as is happening worldwide - even to educate supporters against it. Indeed many organised sporting concerns have, and are, taking action against offenders. Yet here is a self aclaimed bigotted racist being honoured and adored via it's supporters. I, like most of the worlds sporting faternity, believe, quite rightly in any fair minded sportsman minds, that sport has no place for racists. Let alone put on a peddistoll. Mind I can understand these supporters as they seldom , nigh ever, have anything to shout about, let alone support and get behind lol.... Yep behind is mostly where they are and have ever been lol
sapper756 Posted July 2, 2010 Author Report Posted July 2, 2010 (edited) 20100701Murray - I have to believe Scot says right mental approach is vital if he is to beat world number oneLast updated: 1st July 2010 http://img.skysports.com/10/06/218x298/Andy-Murray-Wimbledon-round-four_2471792.jpg Murray: Needs self-belief The Scot beat the world number one in their last meeting in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open in January but is under no illusions about the size of his task ahead against Nadal,http://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif who is on a 12-match winning streak at the All England Club having won the title in 2008 before injury prevented a title defence last year. Murrayhttp://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif said: "He will definitely be the favourite for the match with his results here the last few years. He obviously didn't get a chance to defend his title last year, but he's played three finals in a row and now he's in the semis here. "He's obviously a very tough player on any surface but he plays great tennis here. Psychologically I need to believe that I can win the match. That's the most important thing." The pressure on Murray to become the first home player to reach the men's singles final at Wimbledonhttp://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif since Bunny Austin back in 1938 will be immense when he steps out on to Centre Court. GOOD LUCK ANDY!!!!! Edited July 2, 2010 by sapper756

alec guinness Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Well done Andy I said at work i was going to get a bet on the guy to never win a single's grandslam title - Now im more convinced to get it on - Will be looking at the odds hope they are good poor attitude mate, andy is the real deal, and he might just have taken the spotlight off the shambolic efforts of the english football team. :(
JohnQuinn Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Sooner he gets rid of the girlfriend the better. If your gonna be the best at something in sport, it needs total focus on the job and a women is a distraction. Every minute he spends thinking about her is time he should be thinking tennis. Ye see it in loads of individual sportsmen. Auld Judy should toe her ar*se and hunt her for her life :D
