Does Capello really know what he is doing? Green in goal, Carragher for King, SWP for Milner, Heskey as striker, and playing Gerrard and Lampard in a 2 man central midfield? What has he learnt in the last 25 games, nothing it would seem.

 

At least i wont have to find a bar showing England games while i'm away on hols.

simple both gerrard and lampard cant play cenrte midfeild togeather they both want to do the same thing get on the end of things neither wants the ball from the centre defenders or the full backs

 

that why u seen it so many times england knocking the ball long

 

someone like scot parker would have been ideal and play gearrard behind rooney and leave heskey on the bench

Need to just play Rooney as a sub. He's just like John Barnes was. A rated club man full stop. As aclub man world class.... but will never be worth a toss for England. Will give away penalties, mouth of obscenities and have early bath etc. Just don't want him around really as he is a liability. I mean just what did he do or achieve today, next to nothing, next time he'll be 3005 better perhaps and achieve nothing.

John Terry ought to be in the scottish rugby side for all he can kick ... everything goes up and over the line. f they had a kicker like him they'd probably win the Six nations' lol..

Well that is Englands first game over, and no win, just a draw, I have to say I was not impressed with the England display.

Well to be blunt it was pretty easy... We just didn't score the 5 or 6 others we should have lol. But we easierly dominated this one sided game. But that's football.

don't think we are picking on England here, but looking at it from neutral. England don't have the craft, and if the USA, can get in to your box with ease so will others.

kina agree with bigda but the problem is the midfield partnership everything in football everything nearly starts from there the problem is England don't have a centre midfielder that looks for the ball off the defenders to start a attack Gerrard and lampard do all there best work in the the other half so really what happens is the long ball up to heskey to try knock it on or keep hold of it

 

so many times terry and the rest of the defence had no other choice but to knock it long

looking at some of the daft comments on here,england scrape a draw?? play was 50/50?? come on,get real.this was a game we should have won easily,we conceded a stupid eqaliser.we dominated this game for large parts,we just didnt put our chances away,end off

If that mistake had of been made by someone in midfield by giving the ball away and leading to a goal, nothing would have been said. Green made up for his mistake later on in the game when he saved what looked to me like a certain winner for the U.S.A. Quite simply we should score more than one goal to win ANY game and Capello shouldn't have sent Scott Parker home.

hy this knocking the USA as no bodies. They have beaten and out classed many 'BIG' teams of late. Were bleading Brazil 2 0 in hge last big tournement, and lets be honest here, outside of FATE they certainly deserved to win that game! So less of the clap trap of them being push overs etc.

For instance if say Scotland played them as of now Bigda and co you would think it was a rugby result the score being so high... Fact! Show me who has easily beaten them over the last three season! you needn't even google it, for the simple answer is 'No one'.
