im hearing of more irish birds in this area of south wales.

could these birds have been from the race at talbenny?

strapper the isrf has been in bude twice and once in penzance this season,plenty of pigeons lost in both budes and some more in penzance,they are back in sennencove this weekend so should be more irish birds about.

ah i see...i picked one up from a non fancier lastnight..its ring leg is broken on the joint.

the bird had been run over by all accounts.

NIPA are back this weekend. NIPA, Ulster Fed, ECF are in Bude tomorrow, INFC are in Sennon Cove today and not sure about our southern friends or the EDC. With North West winds all weekend you will be sure to see alot more. Eamon

a north west wind will keep them from my area,the lower part of south wales might see some, ie cardiff to swansea.

im further north not far from hereford.

there are s and n rings reported...and irish gb .

These birds went as far east as Oxford, one reported their by a friend of mine last night.

My son-in-law is a twitcher. He told me Sennon Cove is a recognized place where twitchers go to see Peregrine Falcons, tells me there's 5 pair there.

i had 1 of my birds return two days ago from a penzance race last sun wk, lots of losses that day alrite with the isrf

no where is safe from bop they are nesting on a few high buildings in the lincolnshire area now. what with them and all the new wind farms planned for round here god help the pigeons :(

I SEEN THE THREE TRANSPORTERS TODAY COMING OFF THE FERRY IN PEMBROKE THEY HAD NIPA ON THE SIDES OF UM LOOKED PRETTY FULL TO ME. WHERE THEY GOING TO

Funny you all say that i got one back from bude today. she was covered in muck from head to toe. no doubt she was in the fields hey !!!!!! Fair play to her by the looks of her something attacked her but she home sweet home now ....put her feet up now until next year...

I'm in Barnstaple north devon, we get a lot of irish birds here!! some clear after being fed & watered but some don't!! Do you Irish boys have a way of getting birds back Collection point & courier???? :huh::huh:
