JohnQuinn Posted June 2, 2010 Author Report Posted June 2, 2010 Know what you mean, but i hope he'll give it another season under the new manager, the boy is a treat to watch, and i'm a Man Utd fan at heart
sapper756 Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 I think if Torres has a good world cup, clubs around the world will be queing up for himhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif

just ask me Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 he not a good manager hes signings are crap apart from torres who e paid top money for and has been a success no doubt reina has been ok marrachno i dont really rate some people do that about it the rest have been hopeless lucas and the likes ngog the list goes on and on are not even permiership players glen johnston looks the part but jury still out on him for me his defending at times leaves a lot to be desired is kurt , riera aurello babel lucas ngog Liverpool players i don't think so
JohnQuinn Posted June 2, 2010 Author Report Posted June 2, 2010 I used to slate Kuyt ma self, but he has grown on me with his work rate and scoring Important goals for the team.
Roland Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Bought Sixty ... Torres and Ben.. Another destined to be a great is Aqualina. Mark my words a gold mine in the making.
just ask me Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 I used to slate Kuyt ma self, but he has grown on me with his work rate and scoring Important goals for the team. i will admit his work rate is top class and a few year back he was banging them in not so much in the last few year remember though Liverpool should be up there with the best and should be setting a standard on how football should be played dont think that will happen with players like kurt in the team
Roland Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Posted Today, 22:10 PM I used to slate Kuyt ma self, but he has grown on me with his work rate and scoring Important goals for the team. My sentiments exactly. Think / I hope G. Jognson has a great world Cup and then the sooner they off load him the better. We have some great, others above average. Just need to buy a team and a half now to do any good.
JohnQuinn Posted June 2, 2010 Author Report Posted June 2, 2010 i will admit his work rate is top class and a few year back he was banging them in not so much in the last few year remember though Liverpool should be up there with the best and should be setting a standard on how football should be played dont think that will happen with players like kurt in the team We'll need to agree to differ on him, every team needs a guy working like he does, more than one, which i think is really the problem with the team this past season, anyway Man Utd are the standard bearers
Roland Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 But the thing i can't get around my head is why Sack him. Reportedly some clubs like Juventas / Milan etc. are touting for his services. If that is true, then instead of 'Paying him Off' they would get compensated when he moved. Further I believe that behind scences the word could / would be spread that he was up for grabs at a sensible deal, and all three concerns would save face and walk free... with Liverpool being at least £3million, if not £5million better of! JMO
just ask me Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 it might cost them more as they will have to pay off his backroom staff aswell i personally think it will be more than 3 or 5 million did he not just sign a new 4 year deal
JohnQuinn Posted June 2, 2010 Author Report Posted June 2, 2010 it might cost them more as they will have to pay off his backroom staff aswell i personally think it will be more than 3 or 5 million did he not just sign a new 4 year deal He sure did sign a new contract so you may well be right, it could run to 5 mil easy.
just ask me Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 ust got a txt saying Liverpool are already talking to hiddink
JohnQuinn Posted June 2, 2010 Author Report Posted June 2, 2010 ust got a txt saying Liverpool are already talking to hiddink There'll be loads of texts flying about, swearing to know its whoever they predict, for example, i swear it will be Martin O'Neil, mind you heard it here first
just ask me Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 they should of took martin o Neill when they had a chance
JohnQuinn Posted June 2, 2010 Author Report Posted June 2, 2010 they should of took martin o Neill when they had a chance The big clubs often get more than one chance, and O'Neil was being quizzed about his future at the end of the season. Its no such a far flung idea
Roland Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 Well, whoever it is, he's gotta ago first. Martin O'niel has always been a favourite of mine. Hiddinck has apparently many other club talks in process.... if we are to believe all what we hear. Then there's that Crotian manager's name being banded about - personally don't think him good enough as of a top club. Big Phil Softy will be in frame too I guess, for Chelsea's boss certainly interferes etc. - though may well has had to learn from his past. But he puts the money into the club, and has 100% right to say and do as he feels fit.... but had to learn others know more than him, and money only helps if used properly by a GOOD manager for sucess. I really like Daglish, and Souness, but hope they aren't thinking along tem lines, too way off now...
