Carrhouse Lofts Will Be Back In 2011

I've just got back from the Todmorden homing society's clock reading, for the Swainswick race today, I just went up for a chat and to meet old aquaintances (and for a beer) so I'm not a member just yet.

As some of you will be aware, I've been restoring a 1949 Alvis car which is now finished and I used our old pigeon loft as a workshop for said project.

The loft is now being put back together as a pigeon loft and we (me and the wife) will be returning to pigeon racing in 2011.

I'm unsure about a one-loft race as we've been out of the sport for a couple of years and would just like to return to racing for a start.

 

we are sure we will be welcomed as new members of Todmorden homing society in 2011 and are looking forward to the 2011 season.

pete, were you planning a trip over?.....you could bring me some birds if you've any you don't want I've just finished putting my stock loft back together!

no reply pete? stock loft and corn store now finished, and on with old bird and young bird sections now.

 

I've certainly got the pigeon bug again
