bren23 Posted June 6, 2006 Author Report Posted June 6, 2006 THERE WELL DOWN ON NUMBERS THEN, NOT TO GOOD FOR THE NEW LORRIES THEN
richard Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 They have also chosen to go to a nothing race point. No birds going from the Isle of Wight! Usually about 150. Would they have retained the birdage had they stayed North? Cheers Richard
peterpau Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Can't talk for anybody else but our birds are going north not with NFC as we'd planned
PIGEON_MAN Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 WHEN OUR FED TOOK THE DECISION TO FLY NORTH BEFORE THE SEASON BEGAN SO THAT WE WERE VIRTUALLY SURE OF LONG RACES I DECIDED THEN THAT I WOULD NOT SEND TO ANY SOUTH ROAD RACES EVEN THOUGH I AM A MEMBER OF THE NFC,MCC AND CSCFC.WE WILL HOWEVER BE RACING SOUTH WITH THE YOUNGSTERS AS LONG AS THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS DOWN SOUTH.
Guest shadow Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 I cannot understand why any fed or club wants to go deep into perigrine country just to get distance racing they are not thinking of the welfare of the birds.
PIGEON_MAN Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 I DONT THINK THE WELFARE OF THE BIRDS COME INTO ANYMORE,IT,S ALL MONEY ORIENTED I,M AFRAID THESE DAYS,BUT SAYING THAT FEDS HAVE GOT TO GO WHERE THEY THINK THEY WILL BE MOST SUPPORTED OR ELSE THEY WILL NOT SURVIVE.
swilcox Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 Im going to try and be clever and send 1 pigeon to the BBC Carlisle race!!!! Stuart
PIGEON_MAN Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 I,M SURE YOU WILL O.K. STUART HOW FAR IS IT TO YOU.
jimmy white Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 Well they have chosen to go on the same day and to the same racepoint as the bicc which i dont suppose has helped i suppose thats one way of loosing money, it happens up here too,, i can never understand it
westburylofts Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 COST PER BIRD FOR NFC = ??? COST PER BIRD FOR BICC = ??? SAME RACE POINT SAME DAY, ????. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A BRIGHT SPARK TO WORK OUT WHERE MOST WOULD SEND IF THEY HAD A CHOICE. RAY
Mike Lycett Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 Same day as MNFC Lulworth cove too. Why should Midlands guys support a Sennen Cove race they have little chance of winning when an MNFC race is there for the taking ?
westburylofts Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 HOW MUCH !!!!! HOW CAN THE NFC CHARGE £3.50 A BIRD WHY SO MUCH ???. RAY
westburylofts Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 GOOD LUCK ALL HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GOOD RACE RAY
