COATBRIDGE, HOW MANY FED TICKETS DID HE WIN AT HIS PREVIOUS LOCATION AS YOU SEEM TO BE QUOTING HIS WINNERS
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 THIS THREAD STARTED BY ASKING FOR THE BEST FLIER IN YOUR AREA WINGS QUOTED FOUR DIFFERENT FLIERS AND I DIDN'T FULLY AGREE WITH HIM AND THAT'S WHY I MENTIONED THE TWO I DID AND AS I SAID PREVIOUSLY IN MY ORIGINAL POST I WASN'T PUTTING ANYONE DOWN AND I THOUGHT THE FORUM WAS HERE SO YOU COULD SAY WHAT YOU HAD AN OPINION ON AND NOT JUST SAY WHAT ALL THE SHEEP WANT TO HEAR
Guest WINGS 04 Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 TAMMY HOW MANY BIRDS DO YOU THINK HE SENDS ???
seagull Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 has to be down at the south coast i would say john mcgee fred hall both good channell flyers
frank-123 Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 i dont know how well he done at his previous location as i dont know the man wings said george macaloney in the lanarkshire fed then added four more fanciers from the national flyers from the west of scotland you said in your post you did not mean to put the guy down but saying he sends vast amounts of birds and moved house to get a better drop puts the guy down dont you think tammy iam not a sheep either just like to be fair and give credit to good flyers
mealybar Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 Best flyer in my area will be the person who last topped the fed sheet This is pretty good flying I'm sure you'll agree: 3 first feds within 7 days; North Weald 28th May - also 1st Section 6 - 7th Open UNC 20,721 birds, Melton Mowbray 31st May (Wednesday federation catchup race for missed races in May because of the weather), North Weald 3rd June,,, the partnership: Patterson & Westmoreland - Hartlepool
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 i dont know how well he done at his previous location as i dont know the man wings said george macaloney in the lanarkshire fed then added four more fanciers from the national flyers from the west of scotland you said in your post you did not mean to put the guy down but saying he sends vast amounts of birds and moved house to get a better drop puts the guy down dont you think tammy iam not a sheep either just like to be fair and give credit to good flyers YOU'RE A BAAAAAAAAAAAAA D BOY BART,I ONLY WROTE ABOUT WHAT A LOT OF FLIERS HAVE PREVIOSLY SAID,AND IT WAS A FLIER WHO STAYED NEXT TO HIM AND FLEW WITH HIM THAT TOLD ME ABOUT GEORGE BEFORE HE HAD MOVED.AND NO I STILL DON'T THINK I WAS PUTTING HIM DOWN.
slatey Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 IF YOU READ ALL OF MY POST I SAID I WASN'T PUTTING ANY FLIERS DOWN .HE SENDS VAST AMMOUNTS OF BIRDS AND AS I SAID HE PROBABLY HAS THE BEST LOCATION AND BECAUSE HE GETS THE FIRST DROP IN MANY RACES HE IS BOUND TO GET THE MOST FED TICKETS SO NEXT TIME READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU COMMENT. tammy-1 Just because he is the first drop in the fed does not mean he has the best drop the prominent south west wind means its the back men who should be topping the fed. tomo
frank-123 Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D bart 1 tammy 0 :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
Guest Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 GEORGE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A TOP FLYER FOR AS LONG AS I'V KNOW HIM, WHEN DID HE MOVE HOUSE?LAST TIME I WAS AT HIS LOFT WAS ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 I AM NOT DISPUTING GEORGE'S REPUTATION AS HE IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST FEDERATION FLIERS IN BRTAIN AND HE MUST HAVE TAKEN HUNDREDS OF FEDERATION TICKETS AND PEOPLE HAVE TAKEN THIS THE WRONG WAY I NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL PUT ANY PIGEON FLIERS DOWN AND IF I RACED FOR ANOTHER 100 YEARS I WOULD NEVER MATCH WHAT GEORGE HAS WON BUT IT IS STILL A FACT THAT HE WAITED A WHILE TO BUY HIS HOUSE FROM ANOTHER PIGEON FLIER WHO I JUST CAN'T REMEMBER HIS NAME AND BART JUST YOU GET YOUR RESULTS SENT UP AND I DO APOLOGISE TO ANY BODY WHO THINKS I WAS PUTTING SOMEONE DOWN.
jimmy white Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 ;D another great flier over many many years is charlie and russel woof of new ollerton notts wooff bros and son and his brother in staindrop, some of the best pigeons i ever had came from them

Guest jason Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 the best flyer in Todmorden has to be phil williams he topped the lancashire combine 3 times in a season. ;D and he only flys lefabre dhanens. also he's been highest prize winner for the last 10 years, till fleming & son took it off him last year.
Westwater Assassin Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Quite a hard one with there being so many "GOOD" fanciers in FIFE so heres a few i think deserve that title of "BEST FLYER IN YOUR AREA". Brian Chalmers of Kennoway, A name who has appeared on most SNFC results in the last few years and is also on the Fed sheet most weeks (This man WILL win a National). Gav Aiken of Kennoway, Check this mans performances over the last few years it can only be described as "AWSOME" only racing a small team of pigeons (4 firsts this season out of 6 so FAR). John Harcus of St Andrews, small team lofts with some CRACKING results (2 first Fed this year so far 2500 + birds). John King of Kirkcaldy, Professional attitude to pigeons with some truely outstanding results over the last 10 years (Club , Fed and Nationals). Mick McMurchie - always there or there abouts on the Fed Sheet. Ian Hopkins of Cardenden, only racing about 6 pairs of pigeons this man holds his own with guys racing up to 10 times the amount he races !! A few men who are no longer with us who also have achieved the same status. Jimmy Kier - Club, fed or National always there. Matt McLauchlin - One word "LEGEND" Davie King - Club & Fed racing only he was the KING OF THE WEST SECTION !! Jim Whyte (from Storrar & Whyte) - no nosense attitude to pigeons !! he proved it.
Guest Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 think you missed out one of the best jock trail
jimmy white Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 theres many ,but i allways admired robert cormack of winchburgh, lost count of the number of years he was on the gold cup result
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 WAS THERE NOT A BIG SALE OF HIS BIRDS EARLIER THIS YEAR JIMMY ?
jimmy white Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 :)yes tammy ,he packed in after a lifetime in the sport,,, a real gentleman.
pender Posted June 22, 2006 Report Posted June 22, 2006 macca, from coatbridge. gold award winner 1st s.n.f.c. sartilly, ( how many winners in west) first 15 in fed etc etc 60mile 600 mile. not matter were you are to do that. 9 times out of 10 you will prob find best fanciers are use in best places, but they still use have best pigeons, and what about the other fanciers of that area, if it was that simple they would all be doing it to.
stevebelbin Posted June 22, 2006 Report Posted June 22, 2006 The best fliers in my area seem to be tipplers, they fly all day long LOL
