Guest Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 This was the first race from france into UK and it looks as if the birds are tumbling in a great race well done to all. Up at 05.50am how many were timed in on the night???
Guest Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 Between 40/50 on the night and they tell me Ken Buchanann timed one on the night and 8 birds in the morning not bad for an 560.590mls
Chris Little Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 Many have described it as the best channel race in years Well done to all involved and those who timed
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 JOHN COSGROVE IN LESMAHAGOW TIMED 2 ON THE NIGHT.
Guest Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 Well done Peter Virtue, a great result for you and Cockburnspath.
sj irving jnr Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 well done to crombie and meechan that wins our section down here
kaybee Posted June 25, 2006 Author Report Posted June 25, 2006 i think the first three are 1st wil flockhart, 2nd peter virtue, 3rd jacky wishart. very well done to these fanciers. nicer pigeon folk are hard to meet. ourselves, i think we are 6th and if you had seen my brother and i on friday night when our pigeon dropped youd have thought we had won the lottery. about 550 miles on the day. i know of very few experiences like it.
GREENGRASS Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 WELL DONE KENNY YOU ARE HAVING THE SEASON MOST OF US CAN ONLY DREAM ABOUT, KEEP IT UP. WELL DONE TO ALL WHO TOPPED THEIR SECTION AND A BIG WELL DONE TO OUR OWN CLUB PRESIDENT BIG IAN "JOHN" LOWE WHO HAS TOPPED SECTION F TWICE SO FAR THIS SEASON IN THE SNRPC. WELL DONE TO ALL.
GREENGRASS Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 JUST GOT A COPY OF THE FULL RESULT LESS THAN 1 YARD IN IT AFTER 55O MILES AND BIRDS IN EVERY SECTION IN EARLY LOOKS LIKE A GOOD RACE OVERALL. THINK THE IDEA OF LIBERATING ON A FRIDAY WAS A GOOD ONE.
pender Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 i have been very dissapointed, with the coverage of the clubs winners and early times, it has lacked way behind all other classic clubs in the u.k. you may get results early if you a member, but this is a hard hard game we are in and some people may only get 1 or 2 big results in there life, so it would be nice if they got the publicity they deserve.
sj irving jnr Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 yes pender i notice that myself, but there must be problems cause they are pretty good, give them time,
kaybee Posted June 26, 2006 Author Report Posted June 26, 2006 I'd just like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Tommy Broadwell of Silverdale Lofts for breeding my cheq cock that was 6th Open Reims. He has 3x1st and 3x2nd each time beaten by loft mate. One absolute racing machine Tommy. Can't thank you enough mate. All the best Kenny
