johnny11 Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 Yesterday morning on arriving at the allotments I was to find that my allotment had been broken into to. There was some damage to the sheds and siiting shed windows smashed and my pop holes ripped off but the birds where ok. Then the bloke next to me comes up and it seems they had gone on a spree. He went into his young bird section and 6 young birds had their heads smashed in with a hammer or something like it. It did not stop there, the bloke next to him came up to find total carnage, scenes I have never witnessed before. they had ripped off his doors and got into his young birds and killed 30 young birds.... but not only did these b****** kill the young birds they tortured the poor things. They cut legs off and left the birds to bleed to death, they cut wings off two birds and they were still alive. They also nailed pigeons alive to the floor. who in the right mind would do this to defenceless animals. how can anyone get a kick out of this. They must have gone home covered in the blood. The police have forensic evidence but will only get them if they are "Known". I hope they are caught... it is these type of people who progress onto larger things John
Guest Paulo Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 arseholes sick knobs hope they get whats going to them in the end you can't beat karma. I had my allotment done over a couple of years ago they drowned three of my hens in an old bath I had for the horses to drink out of and killed the rest and killed my ferrets. Can't understand how people can be so cruel stealing is bad enough but this sort of thing is pure evil. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on the twats who did this would give them a right kicking

Westwater Assassin Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 Firstly Sorry to hear about what can only be decribed as "PURE EVIL" i can't even begin to imagine what your felling right now. Secondly i hope you meet up with these "SOCIAL OUTCASTS" some quiet night and you "SMASH THERE FU£%$NG HEADS IN WITH A HAMMER" i know violence is meant to solve nothing and will not bring your birds back, but hey might make you feel a little better !! What is the world coming to ?? These are the kind of people who are not brought up , they are DRAGGED UP, the SCUM OF SOCIETY and i personally would love the job of inserting a BULLET IN THERE HEADS !!!! T_T Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 Such is the downfall of pursuing our hobby on allotments. Poor, poor pigeons, so sorry for you and the other boys Johnny. When and if there caught, I suppose they will get community service " how sweet ". mark their card because your turn will come, in fact make sure it does.
THE FIFER Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 SORRY TO HEAR UR DISASTER, HOPE THE GET THEM, ALTHOUGH I THINK IT'S THE RSPCA WHICH SHOULD BE INVOLVED AS I DO NOT THINK U WILL GET MUCH FROM THE POLICE.
johnny11 Posted July 10, 2006 Author Report Posted July 10, 2006 Thanks Guys The two police guys where very sincere and as one of the blokes Dad kept pigeons and he himself was an allotment holder you felt he would try and help. as someone said on allotments the pigeons are not yours when you go home for the night they are at the mercy of the social idiots Many thanks Guys John

Guest Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 I couldn't eat my breakfast after reading Johnny's post, made me vomit. Has anyone thought of having a whip round and getting some sort of reward together to be given for information which will lead to the prosecustion of these low lifers.

johnny11 Posted July 13, 2006 Author Report Posted July 13, 2006 an update The local radio stations have been running a story on this the last couple of days along with the police to try and find the culprits. On sunday night an empty shed was burnt to the ground at 11-45 at night. All this and it is not even the school holidays yet. John
hooky Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 you'll find out who is it one day mate !they all run there mouths of when they think all is forgotten..and may they get tortered in the same manner they did to your little warriors of the sky
MsPigeon Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Oh!!!!! this is horrible!!!! I am shocked!!! I can't even imagine... It is worse than any horror story I have ever heard!!!! There is no way in hell I would leave my pigeons there!!! I think you were just lucky this time johnny11. Oh...... this makes me sick!!!!! and leaves me with horrible thoughts of the whole scene!! I'll be having nightmares over this one!!! Hope the catch the sick *expletive removed*!!! Carol
Guest Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 If they catch them Carol, the doo gooders will pat them on the head and claim they had a wicked childhood or someting like that. I sincerely hope that if these idiots are caught the flyers exact their own form of justice
Guest Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 I hope they are caught... it is these type of people who progress onto larger things John Hope they are caught too, John. Agree with what you and others say, if they aren't caught they are likely to come back or repeat their behaviour elsewhere. Sad fact is that most serial killers have this sort of behaviour in their earlier years ... and progressed onto humans. Reckon leverage there though to force the local council's hand. Either provide secure allotments, or allow back garden lofts. And might be an idea getting the RSPCA involved, and the 'animal welfare' police. Seem clever enough at nailing domestic & wildlife crime, time to nail this behaviour too???
mealybar Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 I'm appauled like everyone else reading this topic. Attacks like this seem more and more fequent, within the last year I can think of the Liverpool one (you organised the sale for them didnt you, johnny?), one in Billingham - posted on the forum by either ian_snaith or craig, about 2 weeks ago a loft was torched on the allotments that my clubmates fly to, in broad daylight! indeed the England match had just kicked off, and one in Gateshead couple of months back. Each brings me back to your first question johnny, WHY??
ALF Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 There are certainly some sick bast**ds out there here's hoping they get caught > > >
Rentenier Posted July 14, 2006 Report Posted July 14, 2006 Sorry for your loss. Hanging will be too good for them.
johnny11 Posted July 17, 2006 Author Report Posted July 17, 2006 Just to update the incident has had lots of coverage in the local and national press yet still led to nothing. Dont think I mentioned a jack russell pup was taken in the incident also which has not been recovered, shudder to think what has happened to it. Pigeons are wonderful creatures and adapt really quickly. Given this happened only last weekend, the other pigeons that escaped the clutches of these perverse individuals, raced this weekend and where first to the allotments for one of the guys and trapped like bullets.
