just read his tours report, and found it a bit off  with his comments. and wen i seen the name of the person who had refused info on his bird i not surprised it not the first time this person has refused and i say well done sir for sticking to your morals unlike some. see mystical rose had to get a mention again lol

I agree with Hyacinth. I personally think it is utterly disgraceful, in normal circumstances.

 

And given that these are far from normal circumstances, I cannot find words to adequately describe what has been said about Mr Gibson's bird not being verified.

 

TELL US WHERE THE BIRD AND THE OTHER STOLEN BIRDS ARE, AND WE'LL GO AND GET THEM - AND WE'LL GET THE WINNER VERIFIED TOO IF THAT'LL SATISFY YOU.

 

I'm ashamed to be Scots after what I've read here from so-called sportsmen. I'd actually promised not to say anything about the incident. But somethings MUST be challenged.

As I said on a previous thread Scott Gibson,s bird was verified by The President and Senior Vice- President of the SNFC as have every National winnner since the present commitee were elected. Time all these rumour mongers were put in there place in the bin with the rest of the rubbish............................

Well at least this rumour has been put to bed.

 

I have to say that I find Joe's articles are the best in the fancy press at the current time, he gives a brilliant write up about the bird and how it was prepared for the race, an excellent service to the SNFC. I also think the Sporting Challenge is second to none.
