Haven't seen written advice yet, but previous years Stray Centre has always started the week AFTER the first race. So if you start racing this weekend [like us], first stray collection is next week, Friday 4th August.

 

Won't be able to confirm till tomorrow night though.

 

Also not sure how the avian flu restrictions fit in with this either.

it stats on the 28th as we have been told by or fed we started 2 weeks a go

i have written advice from the SHU the stray centre opens this weekend. Please remember any GB nehu pigeons etc. can only be processed if the have the name of a club or federation wingstamped onto them.

Birds that go to the Stray Centre are separated into Federations which are then picked up by the Feds and distributed to the Clubs. Costs you about a fiver to get a youngster home instead of £23 with Amtrak.

why cant every club do it once a fortnight or every week of the year as u hear of people leaving good birds with people as they  cant aford it can there not be asystem were this can happen all year round and not just during yb season
