Guest TAMMY_1 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 AS I ASKED PREVIOUS ALF WHAT WAS YOUR SNFC DELEGATE SAYING TO YOUR FED MEMBERS? WHAT RIGHT DOES A SNFC DELEGATE HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING TO ANOTHER FEDERATIONS MEMBERS ABOUT SOMETHING? THEY ARE TWO ENTIRELY DIFFERENT ORGANISATIONS SO WHERE DOES THE OVERLAP WITH DELEGATES COME IN TO IT. SNFC DELEGATES ARE NOT THE SAME DELEGATES THAT WERE AT THE MEETING, IT WAS BROUGHT UP ABOUT GOING TOGETHER AND WAS KNOCKED BACK BY EVERY SINGLE DELEGATE PRESENT, EVEN THE ONES THAT FLY WITH THE SNFC SO DOES THAT IN ITSELF NOT TELL YOU SOMETHING,
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 dont understand was there no vote taken alf EVERY SINGLE DELEGATE VOTED TO KEEP THINGS THE WAY THEY WERE DECIDED AT THE AGM BART, SO THIS WAS THE RESULT OF A VOTE, AND THERE WERE A FEW DELEGATES THERE THAT FLY IN THE SNFC. THE DECISION HAS BEEN MADE SO MAYBE THAT SHOULD BE THE END OF IT

Cheers Gareth PS Cant wait to have a extra Maidstone race on the same day, common sense in it's prime. : :

Guest WINGS 04 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 THEY ARE THE SAME DELEGATES THAT DID NOT STAND BY THE AGM WHEN THE ETS WAS USED IN THE OPEN RACES LAST YEAR
frank-123 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 EVERY SINGLE DELEGATE VOTED TO KEEP THINGS THE WAY THEY WERE DECIDED AT THE AGM BART, SO THIS WAS THE RESULT OF A VOTE, AND THERE WERE A FEW DELEGATES THERE THAT FLY IN THE SNFC. THE DECISION HAS BEEN MADE SO MAYBE THAT SHOULD BE THE END OF IT i have already said that is the end of it for me the place to bring it up is next years agm just thought maybe the delgates would have been told to take the proposal back to there club members for discussion but if the snfc failed to contact lanarkshire to ask if they were intrested in sharing a race point looks bad on the snfc management
frank-123 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 ALL I AM ASKING HOMER IS DID YOUR SNFC DELEGATE INFORM YOUR FED ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF CONVOYING WITH THE SNFC?[/ THE WHOLE POSSIBILITY OF CONVOYING WITH THE SNFC WAS BROUGHT UP AND AS HAS BEEN STATED EVERY DELEGATE THERE UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED THE DECISION TO ADHERE TO THE AGM WHERE IT WAS DECIDED WE WERE GOING TO MAIDSTONE we were still going to maidstone which was going along with the agm but nowhere in the agm did it say you cannot share a transporter ;D
square_peg Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 i have already said that is the end of it for me the place to bring it up is next years agm just thought maybe the delgates would have been told to take the proposal back to there club members for discussion but if the snfc failed to contact lanarkshire to ask if they were intrested in sharing a race point looks bad on the snfc management true but as informed by my fed delegate for the snfc, delegates were told to go back and ask there fed if they were interested in going with the snfc.
frank-123 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 looks like the snfc delegate was not allowed to speak on the matter at the delegates meeting last night as it was not on the agenda which was quite right maybe a letter should be sent and it could be discussed at the next meeting or is it to late i have total confidence in the officials to keep the fed right and not push through anything the members don't want but we must talk about this proposal from the snfc
me Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 "true but as informed by my fed delegate for the snfc, delegates were told to go back and ask there fed if they were interested in going with the snfc." This is not alwas possible Square Peg for instance a couple of years ago the "Glasgow" committee member was a member of the Midland Federation so it would be difficult for him to attend Glasgow Fed meetings!!!
DECKY Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 I agree with me, cos I am that SNFC committee member. To answer Square pegs question, the both Lanarkshire Fed SNFC committee members had both resigned ( well before the end of the year ) from the National committee before the Maidstone issue was brought up at an SNFC meeting. So in there defense, they may not have been aware of the SNFC convoying feds to Maidstone, hence them not reporting back to the Lanarkshire Fed.But, I am certain all the officials of L.F were contacted and made aware of the SNFC's plans for 2007.Every fed is treated equally by the SNFC and everything done with the best intentions in taking the pigeon sport in Scotland forward. Cheers, Derek Hay

Cheers, Derek Hay OF COURSE THE FED OFFICIALS KNEW, EVERYBODY IN SCOTLAND KNEW, IT WAS OUR PRESIDENT WHO BROUGHT THE SUBJECT UP AT THIS MEETING,AND ONE OF THE DELEGATES WHO HAD RESIGNED FROM THE SNFC COMMITTEE ALSO SPOKE ABOUT IT AT THE MEETING, THE IDEA WAS REJECTED, BUT A NOTE WAS MADE TO DISCUSS IT AT OUR NEXT AGM FOR NEXT YEAR
