Not everyone in the thread or viewing it knows the relationships between those posting. Even now knowing this, it still hasn't helped clear anything up. If the main subject now being discussed is:

 

apparent 'information' in the Fed known in some quarters but not in others;

 

then the so-called 'banter' hasn't made clear if there was a club meeting or not.

 

And if there was a meeting, why was it called and what were they voting on?

Don't know if its garbage or not Tammy but it sure is a worry if the mighty Lanarkshire Fed  have not got enough doos  for an open race on their own from 350 miles. The doo game really is in trouble.

Aint been on for a while Square-Peg but just for the record I dont like the idea of duplicating birds into a National or having Feds liberating with the National birds. I pay my fees each year to the National and dont think it is right that I could win the National but still only be 2nd in my club because the guy who wins the club is not a National member. would take all the glory from my pigeon so my pigeons will be going to the Fed races on the inland National days where before Ive emptied the loft to the National.

s is it cost effective  for lanarkshire fed to go to maidstone

i cant remember how much it cost lanarkshire last year to race from maidstone

 

lanarkshire are hoping to get a new transporter in the next few years i am sure the savings could go towards this good cause

maybe if we get a new transporter the snfc would be coming to us to hire our transporter

 

someone who is against this idea of the snfc taking our birds to maidstone tell me why i should be against this idea what are the negatives

i like rabs atitude try try try,, with the lanarkshire birds going with the nat[ if],,,,,would be far more economical,,,plus with the amount of birds going to nationals nowadays,,,a little east in the wind the drag of the birds,etc, its quite realistic to think the overall winner could be in lanarkshire , just imagine being 1st club, 1st lanark open and 1st national ,,, goferit rab ;D ;D ;D

i think national racing should be from france and inland racing for feds and amals

my feelings exactly, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, and also everybody keeps posting about something that has not even been brought up anywhere in lanarkshire as i was asked to post by our fed president and secretary, does everybody outside lanarkshire know more than our own officials ?

Dont see much difference from my post to Bart,s Archie. Both along the same lines. Feds should be organising joint convoying inland not the National.

apparently bart some on here have already decided, and how can you discuss something that hasnae even came up within the fed, i thought you would have not been one for discussing what is basically rumours and supposition ? and who told you it would be brought up soon for discussion, at the last delegates meeting the race programme was sorted and as far as i know that is it and no changes are intended, i am putting out the facts as given to me by our president and secretary which i have to repeat again is that no one was told by anyone from lanarkshire  that lanarkshire were going with the snfc and i think we should listen to what they have said untill something to the contrary is brought about, if it is brought about

Aye it was something along those lines Tam couldnt agree who was taking the birds or who was controlling the race some wanted separate libs if the weather was suitable in their part of the country but not farther up. As far as I am aware none of the Feds in the east of the country are going ie East of Scotland Pentland Hills Midlothian or the Scottish Borders.
