JohnS Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 ive just read that lanarkshire r going with snfc to maidstone as both r on same day this year. will the same pigeon be able to compete in both races?
Guest Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 i think that the maidstone race with the lanarkshire is the only race were you duplicate your open pigeons into your club so not so sure how it will work
ALF Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 WE CANT AFFORD TO LOSE ANY PIGEONS TO THE NATIONAL AS THIS IS OUR BIGGEST RACE OF THE YEAR IN LANARKSHIRE SO WE HAVE WHAT IS RIGHT BY THE FED
Guest WINGS 04 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 will the members have to join the snfc to races in this or will it only be open to members in the snfc
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 JohnS - No decission will made for a couple of weeks yet. Wings - Non members can pay £7 to race along with the SNFC for Maidstone.
HOMER49 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 ive just read that lanarkshire r going with snfc to maidstone as both r on same day this year. will the same pigeon be able to compete in both races? Hi This may happen but as far as Iam aware no decision has been taken LF members must be allow to enter the race without joining the SNFC Cheers Homer 49
frank-123 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 what a great idea maybe some other feds maybe join the snfc and lanarkshire :B
ALF Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 THE THING IS WILL THE SNFC ALLOW US TO DUPLICATE INTO THE NATIONAL THROUGH THE FED AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND??? :-/ :-/
HOMER49 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 THE THING IS WILL THE SNFC ALLOW US TO DUPLICATE INTO THE NATIONAL THROUGH THE FED AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND??? :-/ :-/ Hi Alf Dont think the SNFC will allow duplicating in Possibly 2 lines at Uddingstone 1 Snfc 1 LF Cheers Homer 49
ALF Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 WE HAVE TO TRY AND PROTECT OUR OWN RACE HOMER WE DONT WANT TO LOSE A LOT OF BIRDS TO THE NATIONAL
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 I would agree with you Alf, the last thing we want is fanciers having to split their teams into 2.
frank-123 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 i think guys maybe duplicate into the national will affect the pool money but the choice will be the members of lanarkshire to duplicate or not
HOMER49 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 WE HAVE TO TRY AND PROTECT OUR OWN RACE HOMER WE DONT WANT TO LOSE A LOT OF BIRDS TO THE NATIONAL Hi Alf Dont think many SNFC members will not duplicate back into LF Might make a lot less pool their pigeons Cheers Homer 49
frank-123 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 how would you feel getting a good one in the fed that was not duplicated into the snfc or the other way round snfc not duplicating in lf sure most guys will be in both dont you think alf and homer
Guest Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 You have a number of choices. (1) Competing in Lanarkshire only, a non-SNFC member. (2) Competing in Lanarkshire + SNFC as an existing member of both Orgs. (3) Competing in Lanarkshire + SNFC, as an existing member of Lanarkshire and 'part memberhip' of SNFC, member for this race only, on payment of £7 single race entry fee. Duplication is from National to Lanarkshire.. Number of Feds signed-up, including Central & North West, for both Newbury & Maidstone. Same procedure, £7 for each race for non-members of SNFC.
HOMER49 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Hi Agree but with birdage about £4 per pigeon and 2 lots of pooling think LF will suffer Cheers Homer 49
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Hi Alf Dont think many SNFC members will not duplicate back into LF Might make a lot less pool their pigeons Cheers Homer 49 I do not know any SNFC member who would not duplicate back into the Lanarkshire fed as the fed race has £3000 prizemoney and a great pool race for those who want it, the wanting to send them with the SNFC is all about Prestige and racing against the full of Scotland. cheers Gareth
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Hi Agree but with birdage about £4 per pigeon and 2 lots of pooling think LF will suffer Cheers Homer 49 Alex stop scaremongering, birdage would be well less than £2.50 with duplication.
HOMER49 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Alex stop scaremongering, birdage would be well less than £2.50 with duplication. Gareth Give me a breakdown
frank-123 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 he is always negative our homer 49 must be his age
frank-123 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 why dont you break it down your way homer49 while we are waiting on gareth
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 he is always negative our homer 49 must be his age One thing for sure he is a lot older than 49 ?. Alex SNFC birdage is £1.50, then on top of that what ever fee Lanarkshire set for duplicating back in to the fed race, currently the fed charge £1.00 so hopefully the price will be a little bit less than that considering the money would only be going towards prizemoney. cheers Gareth
HOMER49 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 why dont you break it down your way homer49 while we are waiting on gareth Hi Bart If Iam wrong you can buy the first round SNFC £2.50 LF £1.50 CLUB ? think positive but beware Cheers Homer 49
