No the birds aren't on eggs, Homer, they are still within 10 days of pairing up.

 

I feed each bird one and a half tablespoons of breeding mix, a touch of hormoform and a touch of G10's (4/5 'grains' of each, just enough to cover the tip of a teaspoon) .

 

11 pairs eat everything, 2 pairs leave only the G10's. I think its more of a taste and smell thing rather than overfeeding

;D i used to feed them winalot ,,but they never ;D ;D  actually have given them winalot , but ybs need plenty protein ,,no fancy names maple peas , beans peanuts    , when the ybs are a week old the old birds know what to eat theyll throw the maize aside [unless starving]  i put a tablespoon of baby milk SMA WHITE," more satisfying for the hungrier baby" [well it says that on the tin ;D] more fibre in the peas and beans makes huge droppings ;D ;D ;D[  well not that big ;D]

but solid , the ones you can lift out [not with a fork lift though ;D]
