Guest Posted March 10, 2007 Report Posted March 10, 2007 Follow-up programme on 'the Raploch' a Stirling housing scheme which had more than its fair share of social problems, and the subject of a BBC series a few years back. While the pigeon fanciers are still there, the club isn't and they're now members of Stirling Club in the Scottish North West Federation.

Guest Doostalker Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 Great last time out, and the Raploch has seen some huge improvements. The fanciers have an allotment area where they fly from, and from the trailers, there will be some footage of the guys who keep the doos.

It was really uplifting to see how much the Raploch area has improved, and how the whole community is getting together to develop the area. Sadly it seems that the allotment area may be used for housing development of some sort. Hopefully, the lofts will be found another location where the locals can fly their doos. Good luck to them all.
