And sadly he won't ever now get the recognition he deserves - or more bluntly don't deserve. Why, well simply he has beaten many that should have been in there with him for starters, and that is great and fair play to him, good management is Big Pay days and little hurt. Benn / Eubanks / Downs etc. for all comers and anyone anywhere! Joe Calzagie is down to fight many ... but they never materialise. Hurt Hand I here you cry! Can't fight when not 100% against the best! I hear. Very true, but he never has Hand trouble against the 'Lesser'! Now the likes of Hopkins / Jones etc. etc. he has been match with many... but never fought them! Hopkins is 42! Jones... the beat goes on! One so called super man was Joey L... but that went out like a damp squib when the hype, the TALK, was not fighting! Yes he may - or may not be good / great, but won't be remembered as a great purely for those reasons ... AND THAT is why the Yanks don't rate him! Sure he beat a Eubanks when he was way past his sell by date, and he was just 'Selling' a title and making money to BE retired on!

But many Titles are given away in Kellogg packets now a days. Every one seems to be fighting for some title or orther or an eliminater. Seems also when you talk about greats in the middlewieght divisions, you should be talking about Monson, Hagler, Robinson, Hearns, Cerdan and the even greater frenchman Tilli.Dick Tiger, and spider Webb. These did fight all comers time and again, and nigh every fight. etc. Graziano, Lamotta, even Turpin on the home front! No not knocking him, just not getting carried away with the ethoria. And a win is a win when going for Eubanks record I guess. And if you have done some Gangster you should know! And know better than gettin away with your selve. Yours is your oppinion, and I respect it... likewise you should also. And that Jones etc. etc scenario was to be quite honestly pure undulated crap... you could sqirt that through an eye of a needle!
gangster Posted April 9, 2007 Author Report Posted April 9, 2007 how many does he hold please check n tell me again!!!!! also yes i know very well not to get to carried away... also yes i agree on the other big names you offer thats fact cant argue as haglers my all time middleweight favourite.. but jones jr ducked out plenty of times just as he did for benn or eubanks...and as i stated most hard hitting fighters do suffer hand damages thats fact i dont see anyone around he has ducked and his titles are the 1s most recognised .......yes i respect your opinion...even the danish champs ducked a fight with him..the americans dont wanna take him on proof being the match up with the contender whos position of 6th in the rankings kinda makes me laugh.................heres 1 for you carl froch now this would be a good fight for him........................

Sons were working late ... I seldom go meself now, though am often offered good tickets for many fights. No don't pass any on ever, not even to family as due to respect and ecthics like. Like Hatton, daughters and son - laws go every time when he fights here .... But have a job to get their head around that Junior Witter is a difference class and would I have noi doubt make short thrift of Ricky. But Hatton will make good money and be remembered as a Great. Witter I am afraid will just be remembered!
