Training in the Week

What is the last day of the week that members would train thier birds for a race on the Saturday. If you train on Friday does this take the strength out of the birds or does it sharpen them up for the race on the Saturday?

i would not train on a friday as most guys dont train on a friday more chance of a hawk strike with there being less pigeons in the sky  

i like to see them out flying on a friday and  maybe a bath if it is nice think it keeps them calm

i woundnt train on a friday  [usualy ]  but with widowhood cocks would excercise them round the loft , early morning , ive found  that if i could get them into the bath ,they sit in the boxes and rest better during the day,,i had a monitor tv in the kitchen and could watch these cocks sitting at peace all day , until they saw their hens b4 basketing

well dont think all that build up from return on sat,  to the folloing weeks race would be wise to let the birds out friday, &  ok  few  training tosses depending on weather would be fine but if flying round the loft why train. Just my opion Speck
