WHAT IS THE MOST HUMANE WAY TO KEEP FOXES AWAY, OR WILL THEY CONTINUE TO COME TO UR LOFT ONCE THEY KNOW THEIR ARE BIRDS THERE ;D HAS TO BE HUMANE BECAUSE I COULD NOT KILL THEM, CAN U BUY ELECTRONIC DETERRENTS FOR THIS ?

I have heard that for a fee, you can get a group of men and women on horses, wearing red coats and black hats, with packs of hounds that will chase the nasty foxes away for you! Mind you, they may startle your birds a bit when they blow their trumpets!  ;D

you can buy electronic deterents the same as for cats or deer just change the settings dazer or regency lofts sell the best ones more expensive but they do work

AM GONY PUT THIS ON ONE MORE TIME FED UP POSTIN IT THE BEST WAY TO DETER FOXES IS BY URINATING ROUND ABOUT YOUR LOFT OR IF YOU DONT WANT TO DO THAT AN UPSET THE NEIGHBOURS p*ss IN A PAIL AND THEN PUT IT ROUND ABOUT YOUR LOFT

Red oxi that one uses for treating metal to stop corrision / rust spread around keeps them at bay! Likewise if one just pees on the corners each visit, they scarper.

Deterents like that do work, but nothing is fullproof

Keeping ferrets,especially a male gives of a scent to deter rats/mice

Lions droppings, when ever you could pick these up in the park ;D, is meant to deter most things

Garlic for mites  & vampires I hear as well

Bairns for romance definately a deterent

Men in red coats on horses with a horn and a pack of dugs keeps foxes away ;D

what was that programme when the fella moved out to the countryside to live off the land? anyway in 1 of the episodes when he got his chickens he was told to put human hair in tights and hang them around the enclosure were the chicks were kept as the sent would keep foxes away ,i don't remember him losing any chickens
