Guest Posted June 23, 2007 Report Posted June 23, 2007 Pentland fed along with the national birds held over at maidstone. what was the point in taking them down there when they knew what the forecast was going to be ?, it's forecast bad for tomorrow also say it could be a monday liberation. somebody is'nt doing their homework...with all the new weather sites etc, your not going to try to justify sending them down there when they did, is it any wonder fanciers come into the sport them just as quick leave it again, it is a shambles. Thinking back to mid-week, Wednesday, forecast was basically light showers with a bad patch of thundery weather around Huntingdon, by Thursday forecast had improved to basically sunny intervals south of border and light showers north of border. If you check the forum for Steve Appleby's race forecast given yesterday, south of the border was basically same as Thursday - and that was what the met office website was saying last night too - tho other weather sites disagreed, and they turned out to be right. Think theres a lot of folk expected a race today.
