phillips Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 when ever we put any pigeons up for sale on the site why do you always get asked the same things _ WHAT HAVE THEY BRED WHY YOU GETTING RID HAVE THEY GOT PED WHAT HAVE THEY DONE FOR YOU ITS AS IF PEOPLE DONT TRUST YOU AND THINK THERE BEING ROBBED ROBBED £30 GIVE US ALL A BREAK my way ov thinking is you buy the pigeon or you dont i think you get better pigeons from sites like pigeon basics and the unc rather than breeding studs the one thing we all now is the birds on sale on these sites have been in lofts that have won not just had all the goodness bred from them
Guest Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 I don't think it's unreasonable for people to know what they are buying. In my experience if the pigeons are above board a couple of questions from potential buyers normally help to seal the deal. Some people hide behing their avatars aswell so how does anyone know what the pigeons have done. Who are you? Where do you race? Whats your full name? For all anyone knows you could have robbed someones loft and now selling them to make a buck, just an example not an accusation.
Wiley Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 not being funny phillips alot of people are genuinally interested in what the pigeons have bred to see if they can produce winners, and if they have they would have more interest in purchasing birds, because who would want a pigeon not producing winners? People also like to see a pedigree as they like to see the bloodlines and if winners run in there genes, "THE APPLE DOESNT FALL TO FAR FROM THE TREE", hope this helps
phillips Posted August 20, 2007 Author Report Posted August 20, 2007 im more than willing to invite any flyer to my loft to collect pigeons it just the fact that there are alot ov flyers that think your pulling the wool over their eyes and as far as peds go if your good with pigeons your good its not that bit ov paper in the crate ever wk think about it ive had pigeons from flyers that say oh there no good.well im sorry i dont think this is true cos ive won with these pigeons that are meant to be no good alot ov flyers think if they buy the best they will win well its wrong any fit pigeon will have a chance in winning

Guest coxy Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 yeah a good honest decent guy can see where hes coming from in a way!! phillips; yes people will want to knw what breed if u have done well with them ect ect but on the other hand the ped can just be a peice of paper as stated. the birds have to be tried and tested/proven to be good birds! because im afraid pedigrees aint everything in my opinion
