Ed :B :B :B in our club you need to have a 1st to break your novice status. i managed 2nd 3rd 4th 5th and other positions this year (my 1st) so am still classed as a novice, there's other members been there for years and still have the novice status.
john robo Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 ;Dany tips on braking my novice????? keep trying mate
birdman55678 Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 I see and now I understand. If while you are still a novice is there anything that is denied to you? Or is it just a standing thing and one that you want to get off your back as soon as possible. Also is it also for the combines or just clubs. Thanks. Ed
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 WELL I WOULD LIKE TO WIN A FIRST REALLY I DONT MIND BEING A NOVICE BECAUSE I AM STILL WITH THE BIRDS
carl Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 observation observation and more observation,,,,keep on top of them health wise and train them hard, the baskets always tell the tales, health and fitness along side GOOD PIGEONS.I broke my novice status a few times my first season. :D. in a very strong club and i never had a pigeon in my life before hand,i would say read read and read even more about the sport then try and get a system that suits you and stick to it. My brains full of dust and pigeons :-/
mac1 Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 im a novice and the best advice i got was,go to another club and ask whos the best flyer, tell the fancier your just starting and could he breed you some young birds from his best..dont listen to everyone coz everyone has different ways keep with the same people who you trust with advice, and dont buy everything you see such.hope this helps. ps.listen to members on this forum because they know what they are on about some anyway lol
