today learned that court farm hereford.. beans gone up to £7 from £4.50.. mixed peas £6.75 from £5.00.

mixed bag of corn  where i get it from gone up £1.20 a bag

i pity the fanciers with big birdage in their lofts.....paul

wheat has supposedly ..price wise gone through the roof....spose we had to have an increase, everything else has ...trouble is where will it stop?

we are paying over £8 for a bag of beans just now, barley and wheat are a fiver a bag

i was told it is not entirely down to the bad harvest but also to do with all those petrochemical companies buying up all sorts for their "Bio Fuel" experiments. i hav heard they doubled their orders from last year. so expect the price to keep going up.......... : : :

they will keep going up anyway , no matter what is happening elsewhere

i rang up richard(court farm) today ..his wife answered...prices are correct....the mix bags dean at perrots are now £1.20 dearer....he told me he is getting more tomorrow..i usually get the court farm mixes from dai perrot. if i hear of anywhere cheaper dean, ill let u know m8....paul

we get our corn from court farm and the prices have gone up,the price of wheat last year was £90 a ton and is now £150 a ton,and most of the grains are being exported abroard for the biochemical companies.  versa laga has gone up as well by at least 60 pence a bag,but that was never cheap anyway.

I've got 22 birds, and need to get down to 18!! Bag of corn lasts me longer than a month. Makes it a cheap sport with those numbers.

i gotta go and collect a few bags tommorow ,ill know then how much its gone up?? i know a few of us on here on disability ,dont have a lot to spend anyway . if it rises again in new year may have to look to reduce numbers further ??.                                                                             andy
