oldguy Posted January 8, 2008 Author Report Posted January 8, 2008 It has been discovered that the accuracy of such an easy obtained projectile the common all garden FATBALL is fantastic, its probably due to its very aerodynamic design and ability to travel at an increasing velocity on a pre-planned flight path , plus the local sparrow flock do not mind them being used as a deterrent. As they are able to feed off any resultant crash damage the fatball suffers upon impact….
The White Rapido Man Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 piantball gun......................... (evil)(evil)
Guest casbri Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 put some antifreeze on a piece of fish and put down for it to eat
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 a trap and a car to take it to the moors?? or a dog that lives outside agree here, one of the sensible and more humane ways of solving the problem.
THE FIFER Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 RIGHT TO ROAM/ Those who are intimidated by irresponsible cat owners can make recourse to the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982,to address their problems, provided they can identify the owners of the uncontrolled felines. Section 49of the CGSA deals with dangerous or annoying creatures and sub-section 1 makes it an offence for any person who allows any creature (cats included) in their keeping to cause alarm or annoyance in a public place, for which they can be heavily fined. However most problems occur on private property which is covered by sub-section 2, which states: A district court may, if satisfied that any creature kept in the vicinity of any place where a person resides is giving that person while in that place, reasonable cause for annoyance , make an order, requiring the person keeping the creature within such period as may be specifide in the order, such steps short of destruction of the creature to prevent the continuance of the annoyance, any person can apply to their local district court for such an order which i believe is relatively simple,

THE FIFER Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 yes quite agree Tammy, even if you are getting problems from a cat in your area and let the owner know about the act could even maybe make them take notice, as i dont think many cat owners know about it,

Know fanciers that knock the owners door and politely ask 'Just why do you think it is right for you cat to crap on other gardens and allotments, and kill and be highly cruel to other living creatures'. Then polite say that unless they can be acomprimise that suits both, mainly the offended against, the cat will go walk a bouts. Trapped and sorted. But the ole electric fence is faddam proof.

Okitsme Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 I honestly cant believe some people are suggesting to kill cats when they into someones garden. That is someones pet and a living thing. This sport really is coldhearted!!!!!!!!!!!! Come one people to dont have to kill them or take them to the moors. Have some compassion is this day and age. >
oldguy Posted January 10, 2008 Author Report Posted January 10, 2008 don’t take the posts serious, think of them as tongue in cheek answers. I wouldn’t think there is a serial killer reading the forums looking for ideas.... though sometimes it is hard to separate the types of vermin that cause problems. Mice rats cats all bring problems with them
