bewted Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 I don't see the side that most are portraying as to what ME said, let alone meant! could you please explain further roland ?
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 my wife has spent lots of money on my lofts so i can exit them more easly and the ets also will help me. i can etend my birds now as well as you can, so called me over the years we have been working hard to bring our sport to anyone young, old.disabled, then you say somthing like that maybe so called me you should leave the sport if you think its only a sport for thoes who are in full health. totally agree with you here mark, the sport is there for anybody who wants to fly birds whether it is serious or whether it is just for fun, as long as it can be aenjoyed that is the main thing, you carry on as you are and good luck with your ets system, and it really makes no difference whick one you get because in the end they all only do the same thing and that is record your arrival times
barlbymark Posted January 8, 2008 Author Report Posted January 8, 2008 cheers tammy you a true pigeon fancier like me not meny left these days lol.
DOVEScot Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 If you are as badly injured as you say pack the birds up you can't do them justice. Wish life was that cut and and dry, but maybe being badly injured he needs his long time hobby to keep him occupied, and also may be a form of therapy :-/ Ets is here and here to stay, you are just prolonging the inevitable
barlbymark Posted January 8, 2008 Author Report Posted January 8, 2008 yeah thats how it is dovescot thank you
me Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Wish life was that cut and and dry, but maybe being badly injured he needs his long time hobby to keep him occupied, and also may be a form of therapy :-/ Ets is here and here to stay, you are just prolonging the inevitable You were obviously as bad at interpretation at the school as most of the rest of the brammers on here. 1) What makes you think I don't have ETS, nothing I have posted on this thread remotely suggests I am against ETS? 2) Barblymark is one of the few if not the only person who has posted on this thread intimating he is/was against ETS for able bodied fanciers. My concern is the pigeons welfare someone who is so badly disabled that he is physically incapable of timing a pigeon in would have to make alternative arrangements for thier care or the welfare of the birds would be compromised - is that clear enough for the hard of reasoning individuals who frequent this forum. Luckily in this case its probably not a problem at all, the forum member in question has posted pictures of himself on another thread and his back looks in a lot better shape than mines is and I manage to clean my birds every single day. As I said in an earlier post if you want to use ETS just say that don't use the Disabled as an excuse, they don't like being used, trust "me" I know!
frank-123 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 did not know you could tell how someone's back was from a photo ya brammer me

me Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 iam shocked that you are shocked if your that disabled give your birds up would be my advice ya brammer When I no longer am able to which will be sooner rather than later that is exactly what I will do. One thing Bart, the day someone like "me" needs advice from you about pigeons, hell will just have frozen over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
frank-123 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 thats true i could teach you nothing on pigeons but i could teach you some manners

superstar Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 Disabled or able bodied ETS doesnt guarentee you will win, our club has mostly ETS users, but not all the young bird races were won using ETS or even T3's! A guy with a good old STB won 2 of the 8 races and figured well in the others too! Even topped the fed to boot. You will only get out of this game what you put in and thats down to effort and ability not clocks or money although the latter helps
barlbymark Posted January 10, 2008 Author Report Posted January 10, 2008 you see me in pics standing or sitting in a pic you cant see me moving around such as bendinding walking so this guy who calls himself me and not got the guts to show his name mind your own business you know nothing about me why dont you go and jion the sad mans forum the other pigeon rooms where all you good fornothing people like you go and leave us normal people in peace,
barlbymark Posted January 10, 2008 Author Report Posted January 10, 2008 i have reported this member called me to the webmaster as i wont have my able condition abused by somone who dont know me.it dont end here im taking this further
bewted Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 MARK,,,CALM DOWN MATE,,,NOT WORTH THE HASSLE OF IT ALL,,,,I KNOW HOW PEOPLE LIKE THIS MAKE YOU FEEL,BUT,DONT GO TO THEIR LEVEL MATE,,,,,,,,,WE ALL KNOW YOUR A DECENT CHAP !!!!
DOVEScot Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 You were obviously as bad at interpretation at the school as most of the rest of the brammers on here. 1) What makes you think I don't have ETS, nothing I have posted on this thread remotely suggests I am against ETS? 2) Barblymark is one of the few if not the only person who has posted on this thread intimating he is/was against ETS for able bodied fanciers. As I said in an earlier post if you want to use ETS just say that don't use the Disabled as an excuse, they don't like being used, trust "me" I know! ;D ;D ;D I think ets is here to stay, whether you are able bodied or not, it is a great tool for those less able bodied who otherwise may have to leave the sport due to the problems they incur whatever they are. If some one is wheelchair bound and does not have the means to get access to his loft, but can still get help from family, friends or paid help even, then who are you or ME to decide the birds welfare is at risk and the guy should pack in. If the birds are badly neglected then they will not win and may not return. Then again highly trained and well looked after birds seem to do the same ETS makes it a level playing field for all concerned, I think it is a great tool for everyone in the sport ME I like your posts as it sparks debate and ideas, long may they continue
lawrie Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 ME I like your posts as it sparks debate and ideas, long may they continue i like a good old debate! i think in time all fanciers will get ets.

Good night your tidious crap has just about sent me to sleep... as if every chance to spout you are at it ... worst than thn the 'EYE Sign' brigade. Note to you roland! Not nonsense its an absolute fact! I dont sing or spin yarns and if I offend you bad luck! Move with the times or get left behind, offence in this case is being caused by your ownselves inability to move with the times for whatever reason and that is a fact! As for Harking on, this is my one and only post on the subject, there are more interesting and amusing things to read and post about as change has started and all the whinging in the world will NOT stop it so what would be the point in me posting anymore? Now you say MY selfish means! What do you know about me roland? you know nothing pal, I at this moment do not race pigeons but when I decide to in the future I will be using an older type of clock, my son has an ETS system but I really cant afford to buy one myself, but no way will I knock the fortunate people that can, to do that is just not in my nature, but I bet I will be up with the best of the ETS boys when that day comes! I would wish you a good night too, but as its not and I dont need a nap in the afternoon then you will have to do without sorry. As for eyesign! if they got one either side of heir head and they can see through them both your on the right track! Oh and as for "get a life", I still had mine when I walked away from that fire last year so WRONG AGAIN I've GOT ONE! And dont it feel good! Thanks mate xx
