Guest Vic Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 i certainly hope this is a good race,, however i have my severe doubts,, as i live just a few miles from the lib site, can assure anyone, i wouldnt have let ducks off in that weather,, at the moment here [in the lothians] its damp, cold, with visability pretty poor and a brisk east wind ,,,,cerainly not pigeon weather JIMMIES THE MAN, NONE ON THE DAY, I'D SAY. (ONE EXPERIENCED WINK TO ANOTHER MAYBE?) best of luck to THE BIRDS, SINCERELY.

cemetary Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 So its looking like just under 30mph they are doing then.
Mr Yorkie Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Can't help but think they haven't really considered the conditions for the pigeons but it was more that they had the marquees up and beer in so they birds just had to go. It hasn't been very good here in North Yorkshire execept for a couple of hours this afternoon between 1-3pm. Can't help but feel for the pigeons, most by now will be sat on house roof tops wondering what the hell is going on.
pjc Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 I'm affraid i agree with you Yorkie, to much arranged at the home end, auction, food, beer etc to consider the birds! Phil
