jimmy white Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 one way of making "nettle soup" is to cut the top 6 inches from the stinging nettles , boil on water , then give in the birds water,, it is sopposed to be good for them[ good for the garden too ;D left in a barrel of water,, but it absolutely stinks ] personally i think, birds will eat what they need and when they need it , if available for them
