after seeing an article on another site i searched it and found this,

its all about how good stinging nettles are for you and your birds..the amount of good uses will astound you..

thought this would be usefull for all members of the site to view.

always use stinging nettles, best thing to get down out of your birds 4 weeks prior to first race stick ur pigeons on 14 days of nettle tea, the condition the birds come into is unbelievable its like a snowfall of down

one way of making "nettle soup"  is to cut the top 6 inches from the stinging nettles , boil on water , then  give in the birds water,, it is sopposed to be good for them[  good for the garden too  ;D left in a barrel of water,, but it absolutely stinks :)]  personally i think, birds will eat what they need and when they need it , if available for  them :)

lol its very simple own picked is the besxt but you can by nettle tea at holland and barrats which is just as good.
