swilcox Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 In order to promote the site and its good members i would like to donate a £100 Raymond Moleveld voucher (to be used between June-October 2009) as a prize for the member voted the most Valuable Member of PB 2008. I would say that we are looking for the guy who has helped other members, posted informative information and followed the code of conduct and overall promoted Pigeon Basics in the way it should be. Maybe we could use this thread for nominations and then have a vote run by the webmaster leading up to New Year, please lets keep it sensible though. Regards Stuart Wilcox

chickadee Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Maybe we should have a poll running?
Guest Paulo Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 I vote for roland I don't always agree with what he says but he keeps the topics going and has some interesting points, input and memories
OLDYELLOW Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Maybe we should have a poll running? a poll for 4000 members be a big poll
andrecrock Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 great gesture,,,,,,,Bob Nichols of Norfolk andrecrock
chickadee Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 a poll for 4000 members be a big poll I really don't think 4000 members use the site, I have never seen near as much as that on pb.
OLDYELLOW Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 162 members at one time have been logged on but that wouldnt be a true reflection of how many actualy use the site
ChrisMaidment08 Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 then in sense in practical terms it cannnot be done unless all members were on thread so it could be voted on but anyway im for roland when he is sober lots info and common sense posts
Guest Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Webby should have a good idea of those who have used the site fairly regular in last 12 months
Tony C Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Although i have had no help i think i would have to vote for the person whos posts are very good its a hard one to call as we all dont agree all of the time one mans posion is another mans medicine as the saying goes so i would vote for IB for his posts I agree OLDYELLOW, IB posts are always factual and without favour. Fantastic gesture Stuart.
Webmaster Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Fantastic gesture Stuart I'd like to ask for you're nominations. Lets give it till Sunday, to get them in (post a reply to this topic). I'll devise a way of running a poll to decide the final outcome
