Guest strapper Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 thunder m8 who,s the best fancier in the swansea area these days?
ALF Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 alf it was at a sale in kirkintilloch years before they packed in that i bought my hen 1993,cracker might i add dam/g,dam to 28 winners in fact i won an earlier on old bird race 2008 with a g,dtr of the hen,she died with a tummour at 10 .a chequer cock off her won well over £1,000 before getting lost at gold cup , he in turn bred a blue cock that scored at la fert bernard and alencon with snfc before getting lost at reims 2006 with snrpc still have her ring on my loft keys Only got mine at the sale a couple of years ago Stuart but nice pigeon and never bred off her till last season when i took 4 and gave Gangsters boy 2 of them off her
thunderboult Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 that's tough one... i'd say andrew mcfenton is a top flyer allround. i fly south now so i don't see at lot of them's results as they're mostly on the east route . bath+owen from townhill were quite prolific on the inland races. there's a lot of good fancier's who i apolagise for not mentioning but they were 2 that i remember stood out.

thunderboult Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 how do they do for your mate?. they had a bit of bad luck a couple of years ago, a fox got in their loft and killed a load.

thunderboult Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 i'm not sure paul, i only see andrew now when i go up his club for nat. marking on the east route. and i only sent to 2 of those last year.
dazza Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 good birds come from all corners. Personally never had any welsh birds yet and only ever bought one from scotland. That was from Ralston Graham a son of Eskvalley Mark. The son off him has five 1sts to date.
harky Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 a pigeon bred from J Bekinsale off wales bred me a champion , canny ask for any more than that can you :)
