Does anyone know of anyone who has this old family of pigeons.  I have someone who is not on the forum but is looking for some of the old original lines.

our club secretary alec roberts has a spangle hen dam of the bird that was 2nd west erea 30th open reims this year 580 miles

The best racing family of these left i believe belono Sid and Val Miles of Peasdown St John, Consistant  500 mile flyers year in year out, they won 1st Nat (High Littleton) Tours YB 2008 and have previously won 1st NFC Pau with little darling and many 1st Combines from Dax and Marmande.

 

3 or 4 years ago they sent 3 birds to Tarbes and timed all 3 in the top 21 of the Open, i think thats just unbelievable.

Stephen Holmes has a lot of Mike Youngs birds and has been flying well with them in the BICC

Quite agree with Stuart about Sid and Val Miles, also worth mentioning that Mike Youngs daughter Nicola is racing from Mikes old loft with Mikes old pigeons. Nicola is learning the ropes and hopefully the family name will be seen on the long distance results again in the very near future
