Hi Slim welcome to Pigeonbasics , i must correct you as it was a near escape but when you've got arms the length of mine they sometimes are put to good use.

Why do we not build our stock lofts with inner doors to stop this. We all do it at some point. You feel such a prat looking at your birds sitting on the house at the end of the road.

i have two doors to go through to get to my stock, always worried about them escaping

well not a singal bird back so now i am not going to keep stock as prisoners will get rid of ones i have left and start to buy ybs as stock but have them flying in and out. on the good side put some young in beside racers with young about same age and all been well fed and swapt a pair of eggs thanks yours in sport blaz

What ever you do good luck, my stock all have 2 doors before outside world, parents stock all fly out and they've lost 2 stockbirds to sparrow hawk in the last couple of weeks!
