greenlands Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 I got a dozen young birds off Darren Peters in May last year, went through darkness without any problems.
just ask me Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 there not too late not at all u shouldn't have to many problems look at it another way while most had young ones out in freezing cold weather yours will be coming out when there a small bit of heat in the weather
retired Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 I have only just paired one section of stock up and all the young will race the programme fine. Last season i had several late from Geoff Clare and all these completed the young bird programme
blaz Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 i am waiting on birds going down on 2nd round.then i take 1 of the eggs out and replace with plastic and end up with single reared yb.s. reason is before yb,s are ready to leave nest training starts and if i loose any in training i can swap yb,s about. it worked for me before and think it will work again . and all yb,s will have to compleate yb program things you do on your first year back
