Hi Members, each and everyone of you,

 

this is the wife of Peter Thompson, who told you how our lofts and three others on the same plot,were burnt to the ground Christmas Eve, inclusive of hundreds of birds in a cruel, vicious arson attack.

 

You immediately offered your help, advise and assist, for this we are eternally grateful, and cannot put into words just how much this has meant to us and helped us through a difficult time.

 

We have just received a check from your fund to help us rebuild our lofts and I just want to say THANKYOU to everyone of you, you will stay in our hearts and minds forever.

 

I have so much to tell you. but it has been a difficult time also for numerous reasons.

 

On Monday when I have finished my 12hr shifts I shall try and tell you all about what has been happening, tonight I just want to say THANKYOU to you all. TERRI

hope it all works out well what these cowards done was well i really cant put into words when the new lofts go up and new birds go in look at it as a start of a new chapter in your racing life's may your future be bright and with plenty of winners happy flying

Hi Just Ask Me, thank you for your help, contribution and sentiments, all are appreciated more than words can convey. Paddymack the same sentiments to you also, yes you are so right, as with all you members, Richard and Gemma deserve all the credit, recognition and publicity that comes from what has been achieved so far, and this has come in abundance, as you will hear tomorrow. I pm'ed them both immediately to thank them personally when the check arrived.

 

As when I posted Richard the original information so too will I post my heartfelt sentiments and outcomes of just how much has been achieved from kind, sympathetic, committed people such as Richard, Gemma, yourself and others, and will once again send the information that can be used in any way to promote our sport or celebrate the entirety of how much pigeon men/women do for their own and many, many others that often goes unrecognised by many in the general public as a whole.

 

In my own way I have tried to bring such occurences to their attention by way of news paper coverage or such, particularly with what happened in our case and the out come, this alone should be celerbrated and acknowledged and pigeonmen/ and women have so much to be proud of,  

 

Once again I thankyou all and shall get back to you tomorrow with full details.

         good luck as you deserve it for what you have gone through,its just unbeleivable the amount of lofts that have been vanderlised and burnt to the ground over the last 2 years.ive said this before they never seem to catch the low lifes all they do is destroy peoples hopes of what they want to acheeve in our wonderfull sport,once again good luck.

This is a link to the plaques I've had made as a permanent reminder of the Pigeonbasis.com members and those of the Pigeon CHAT members.

 

One will go on our new loft and the other will go on the new cabin we have ordered from Parkhall lofts, with the money you have donated and some of our own.

 

I chose the name THE P.C. TREASURE LOFT  because it will remind us of Pigeon Chat members and it will always be our treasure, the reason I chose THE PHOENIX CABIN, is because oldyellow said the lofts look like the phoenix has once again rose from the ashes, and it seems to have caught on, I liked the name and associate it with this site and its members, so it seemed appropriate to use it, the cabin will always be treasured too,

Yes Gemma I was pleased with them, I went down to our local sign studio and neil went out of his way to find a pigeon, Pete was thrilled to bits with them.
